Indian Hills Bond Referendum Passes

More than 12,000 voters in 17 counties gave their approval to a $28 million bond referendum by Indian Hills Community College. The project will fund a new campus in Centerville, and major improvements to the campus in Ottumwa. Full story: https://rb.gy/fihogh

Southwestern's CNA Program

Southwestern Community College currently has a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training underway. The training combines classroom instruction with clinical lab practice and long-term and acute care experiences. Students in the program are often assisted by GAP Tuition Assistance as well as GEER funding.

Western Iowa Tech's Short-term, Hands-on Training Programs

All of our Colleges are stellar at providing short-term training programs. Highlighting WITCC, their Corporate College has developed many short-term hands-on courses in areas like electrical training, mechanical training, and fluid power training. Able to to build customized training for many business needs, Corporate College can help businesses with current employees brush up on soft skills or train a new hire who needs a particular technical skill.
