The planned end of the legislative session in April came and went without resolution. Negotiations have been ongoing with little to no action on the floor in recent weeks. This week, however, the Senate returned and began acting on the remaining budget and policy bills. We expect to learn more next week about the results of budget negotiations and how that will impact our funding levels. The legislature could end as early as the end of next week before the Memorial Day Holiday. If that is the case, we will send another newsletter next Friday with those updates.
