On Wednesday, the House passed SF181, which reduces the property tax revenue that Community Colleges and other local entities will receive for the upcoming fiscal year. The bill also extends the certified budget deadline to April 30, 2023 to allow more time to adjust to this change. Community Colleges lose nearly $4 million in revenue for the coming year as a result of this bill.
