Hawkeye student finds right fit and path at Hawkeye
"Though he grew up in Waterloo, Aquonn Williams didn’t take a direct path to Hawkeye Community College. He spent time at two other community colleges, but he wasn’t ready for college and each time ended up returning home. His mother encouraged him to come to Hawkeye, where he found a community that supported him and classes that kept him engaged. Partnership between DMACC Carroll campus and Accenture resulting in high-paying jobs
The partnership between the Carroll campus and tech company Accenture allows for students to complete a 36-credit hour diploma and 4-month paid internship, setting them up for future success.
