IACCT Trustee Leadership Webinar: March 24 at 4:00 p.m. - ACCT Rural Community College Grant Report
In early 2020, Jee Hang Lee (Senior Vice President of ACCT) and Rachel Rush-Marlowe (Senior Program Manager) visited Iowa and spoke with many Community College Presidents, Trustees, legislators, and members from organizations and associations across the state, regarding the needs of Iowa's rural Community Colleges as well as the issues affecting them. This was made possible by a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, allowing for 5 states to be studied: California, Texas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Iowa.
Rachel has been working tirelessly on a report of their findings, and she and Jee Hang will be sharing key takeaways during this webinar. We hope many of you can join and participate.

The ACCT Governance Leadership Institute Program: March 30-April 1
An annual governance-development and educational program for trustees and CEOs of community colleges, it provides an in-depth overview of topics and trends unique to community college leaders.
This is an opportunity for new and experienced board members, as well as the college CEO, to collaborate and strengthen relationships as a team, and to come away with a common understanding of the roles and responsibilities of governing boards, as well as best practices for effective trustee-CEO relationships.

Save the Date: Virtual IACCT Summer Conference, July 21-22
Last week, the IACCT Board made the difficult decision to hold this year’s IACCT summer conference and annual membership online. While we look forward to returning to in-person activities as soon as possible, there is still too much uncertainty to plan a large in-person event. Stay tuned for more information and exciting announcements on speakers and presentation opportunities. In 2022 the in-person event will return and be hosted at WITCC.
