Health Sciences Career Day in Iowa Sessions Now Online
Nearly 1,000 students from 60 Iowa middle and high schools participated in the inaugural virtual Health Sciences Career Day on May 15, 2025, and can now access free recorded sessions online. These sessions, sponsored by the Iowa Hospital Association and the Iowa Department of Education, feature insights from professionals in six high-demand healthcare fields—physician, nurse, radiology technologist, respiratory therapist, lab technologist, and behavioral health—offering students valuable information on career responsibilities, education paths, and training requirements.
