Thanks to the 260E program, Iowa Central Community College partners with local businesses like AgState, Prestage Farms, and New Cooperative to upskill workers and strengthen the workforce. Local companies can consider expansion and modernization without worrying about being solely responsible for training their potential employees.
“Without Iowa Central Community College, the core workforce development initiatives AgState has launched over the past several years, including comprehensive CDL, commercial applicator, and leadership training would not have been possible,” said Elissa Barrick, vice president of Human Resources from AgState.
