Future Ready Iowa Reaches Workforce Education Goal Two Years Head of Schedule
The goal of hitting 70% of Iowans receiving some form of education/training after high school before entering the workforce has been met two years of schedule. Emily Shields, Executive Director, said it's necessary to make postsecondary learning more accessible, as a high school education alone isn't enough to find gainful employment. One of the programs that Future Ready Iowa helped to create and highlight the Last Dollar Scholarship program, which is a huge highlight in the Community College framework. 2024 Kibbie Award Nomination Form
Any active Trustee from a Member Community College Board but not a current member of the IACCT Board of Trustees is eligible. Previous recipients are ineligible. The award will be presented at the annual summer trustee conference, which will be held at Hawkeye Community College on July 10-11, 2024. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 10, 2024. Day on the Hill Training Webinar
