This year’s theme is 60 Years of Impact, as this legislative session marks the 60th anniversary of creating Iowa’s community college network. Decades of important decisions by state legislators have allowed Iowans across the state to have access to excellent and affordable higher education while they live in their homes and work in their communities. Community colleges will be showcasing hands-on, successful programs and will have students and business partners on hand to share their stories, as well as detailed handouts on the direct impact our community colleges have on Iowa's students.
