John P. Kibbie Outstanding Trustee Award

Janet has served Southeastern Community College as a Trustee for the past 26+ years. During that time she has served five times as the Chair and five times as the Vice Chair, devoting herself to support the mission and vision of the college. Janet serves on the CTE Advisory Board for Keokuk K-12 school district, giving her opportunities to share about concurrent enrollment and business/industry needs.  Her work with a coalition of southeast Iowa organizations to develop a Re-engagement Center where youth are assisted in acquiring their High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) is an example of her commitment to improving southeast Iowa’s labor market.
